I've built a no aero tune for my TA, and its good for enough MPH to make a difference. The Mustang has more aero options, i.e. Roush and Saleen kits, that can get even more speed.

Thanks Mikey. I'll look into it. The Stang has some understeer I didn't really notice in testing, and I'm not sure how to tune it out. Maybe a different aero package might help. Or maybe I was just over driving it!!

I had some random understeer issues in my tune, but the PLOW tune I used to qualify was 100% understeer all the time. Odd, since PLOW as a team is highly regarded for their tuning skills.

Note to self: check if TCS is turned "on" as that is a great cause of reoccurring understeer.

Laguna Seca was an epic race long battle with Mako for me. Its nice to race someone you can trust, and other than maybe a couple little lag wiggles, I don't think we made any real contact despite every lap but one being well within FM4's "draft zone" the whole dang race.

Awesome battle Mikey!! I haven't had that intense a race in quite some time. And I agree, racing against someone I know isn't going to "divebomb" me is a pleasure. Then I know for sure a mistake was just that, a mistake.

Well, to be honest, my restart into the Andretti Hatrpin ended up a divebomb, but only because the field had really stacked up there. I had two options, slam into the car in front of me, or slam the brakes and dive low... I chose the latter and picked up a couple spots in the process.

I hope you guys enjoyed American Iron, although to be honest I was more than ashamed of the behavior in the chat by the end. But I think that the ontrack product was pretty good.

On to the next series... EZT Heavyweights  Cool

One question before I start up the forum section for it: is Wednesday OK, or would you rather have a different day?

Great series Mikey! Some of the behavior was terrible, but that is not a reflection on you or in any way your fault. Hopefully we won't see that in the future.

Wed is fine with me, but I think Tomcat would like to run and he can't do Wed.

Yeah, same here! That was a great series - all around! Liked the 2 lap qually, the competition caution, etc gave everybody a chance to get back in fight following a mis-fortune. Good car selection, too.

Good one! cheers

EDIT - As far as the Heavyweight Series, Mon - Thurs is good for me, so however you decide to schedule the series is cool.

Good job again, Mikey!

Cheers lads, I am glad you enjoyed it.

One thing I took from it, I think I somehow was able to fight well above my weight, as I was ahead of some I usually follow, and battling some I rarely see on track throughout the series.

W/o Top Gear, my Mondays feel empty. I'll see if I can get that day for EZT Heavyweights, now known as Modern Trans Am by EZT.

Will be great to have you back with us Neo!! And don't worry, it's like riding a bike, you'll be fine. Hope to see a good turnout from EZT, as our name is on it.

I'll be out of town the next two days. I'm on vaca cheers and me and my sweetie are going down to Foxwoods. I'll start working on a section for this when I get back.

Bummer the Tascar series is a bit too early for me. I'm usually out and about on Sat, especially this time of year.

Looking forward to the TransAm series though. Looks like we'll have a pretty decent turnout. Should be fun!  Cool
