Last sunday we had a time attack at my local track ASE i finish 3rd in my class fwd street tires ,got beat by 2 1995 civic with swap engine (integra), lost a fun

I think we're going to try to develop this idea. Ramoza is working on the regulations. It looks like there will be 2 classes. You can use any car as long as it meets the weight and hp requirements. A 20 minute session to set your best time and possibly a run-off.

If you have any ideas, suggestions, comments or you are interested in helping out, let us know.

The only regulation of the cars are:
Max hp: 550
Min weight: 2,000 lbs
Upgrades: all in sport (exept suspension, diferential, weight (if its necesary).

The cars before the modifications must be max. B class (NO SUPERCARS, THAT MEAN FERRARI LAMBORGHINI ETC... [if you're not sure if your car is supercar send me a pm with the name of the car] NO AFTERMARKET CAR LIKE THE TOM'S MRS ETC...)

AWD, FWD & RWD are welcome!

The PROTO RACE is in silverstone national circuit:
PROTO QUALY: 5 min.
PROTO RACE :10 min.
PROTO RACE 2: 15 min. (MANDATORY pit stop in min 7)

So if i get this right - all i need is a 500bhp, 2000lb fire breathing monster with some sport and some race bits and no FORZA aero. oh, and on SPORT tyres - eek!

Tried a few cars -AWD seems to be the way to go. Difficult to get all that power down otherwise.
Just to confirm - the upgrades are the max allowed ie. If i wanted street ARBs thats ok?

Anyhow, tried a few cars. Seems you really need to get that hp up as high as possible.

My Nissans hp is well into the 400s and kicks the ass of the others i built. And in S class.

Can get low 56s at silverstone nat.

Of course, the nature of tsukuba is totally different from the high speed straights of silverstone.

As its a time trial it'll be your fastest clean lap that counts? If collisions are on surely the other competitors will uncertify your laps if you get anywhere near them? (or they to you)

You can use any car as long as it starts out no higher than B class. And yes, you can downgrade the parts if you need to to fit within the HP and weight restrictions.

Good point about the possibility of de-certified laps with collisions on. That's something we need to test.

Luis, I think we should change the rules so that drivetrain conversions are NOT allowed.

If you think that is gonna make problems, ok no problem

maybe a thought as well, you go do FWD car one week, RWD car the next week and awd the following. do a 6 week series or something along those lines.

maybe make 3 classes for the drivetrain each one, AWD, FWD, RWD. I don't know we are still working on it

ok well if there is a numbers issue i would condense it to 1 drivetrain per week and i know its still in R&D phase
