Introducing IFCA SpecRacing Series 8; the series where drivers will be racing in exactly the same,
spec-built cars where only some tuning options are available!Making its first outing for 2010, the SpecRacing series returns with more of the same on track thrills, character building and make or brake moments that have become indigenous with this event, taking the classic 1994 Mazda MX-5 out for its first official run in over 2 years, marking the return of true Spec racing!
Racing on
Thursdays, at 19:00 CST / 01:00 GMT(UK) / 09:00 Western OZ, the series will travel around fan favourites and new additions, all with their own individual qualities that make the experiences all the more unique. The Road Atlanta venue marks the series opener before moving to the new addition of the Sedona Raceway Park, the classic Laguna Seca and Sunset Peninsula, before moving away from the USA to travel to Spain for the Circuit de Catalunya, Japan for Twin Ring Motegi, England for the Silverstone Racing Circuit and finally France for the Bugatti configuration of the Le Mans circuit. Each of the 8 tracks should test both drivers and cars and produce some fantastic action!

For Series 8, there will be 4 Championships to be decided with each driver able to contest in at least 2 championships! The Drivers Championship will be the main focal point in which all drivers signed up will do battle for, but in addition, depending on drivers preference, the Teams Championship or the Privateers Championship awaits! Finally, if your completely new to the SpecRacing Series, you will have the opportunity to go for Rookie honours!
Working alongside Turn 10, the series is Officially Sponsored and will feature in-game credits and gift cars to be won by the drivers. Those skilled, or lucky enough to finish in the Top 5 will earn themselves a share of the credits available, with the winner also gaining a gift car of his choice. For all drivers that complete the series with 100% attendance (attending 7 out of 8 races) will also be put into a random draw to determine who receives another T10 gift car
When does all of this begin? The next instalment of the historic SpecRacing series will begin on the
18th February and run through consecutive weeks until the series finale on the 8th April. 8 weeks of intense racing against all manner of skill levels in a series that is very good for those that want to pick up and play and doesn't require hours to master, although remember, you only get out what you put in!
