Introducing IFCA StockHatch Series 1; the series where drivers will be racing selected FWD
hatchbacks through carefully tested restrictions to ensure great racing!
New for 2010 is the birth of the IFCA StockHatch series, designed to slow down the action a little, increase the competition, and to turn the fun factor up high! Choosing between 10 different cars represented by 6 manufacturers, each car is upgradeable to the drivers own desire, as long as it fits the mandatory requirements, ensuring performance parity, but each car with their own strengths and weaknesses!
Racing on Mondays at 19:15 CST / 01:15 GMT(UK) / 09:15 West OZ, the series will visit both world famous and fictitious tracks, all with their own individual qualities that make the experiences all the more unique. Starting in Spain at the Iberian International Circuit, the StockHatch circus will go to Sebring Short, Mugello Club, Motegi East, Road Atlanta Club, Tsukuba, Silverstone International before finishing at Catalunya National back in Spain. Each circuit will be sure to test both man and machine, and deliver us a truly worthy champion!
For Series 1, there will be 3 Championships to contend, depending on your own situation. All drivers will battle it out for the Drivers Championship honour, but then whether you run in a Team or as an Independent will determine will determine whether you will compete for the Teams Championship or the Privateers Championship as well!
This event is also Official Supported by Turn 10, and therefore there are in-game credits and gift cars to be won! Those drivers that finish in the Top 5 will earn themselves a share of the prize pot, with the winner also gaining a gift car of his choice. All those drivers that complete the series with 100% attendance (attending 7 out of 8 races) will also be put into a random draw to determine who receives another T10 gift car. Just a Thank You from us to you for being there from start to finish!
When does all of this begin? This new racing venture is scheduled to begin on the 15th February and run through consecutive weeks until the series finale on the 5th April. 8 weeks of intense racing against all manner of skill levels in a series that is very good for those that want to learn their trade and get faster and more consistent by racing with like minded individuals!
